Luke 20:18
Whoever falls on that stone
will be broken;
but on whomever it falls,
it will grind him to powder.
REFLECT
One of my favorite verses in the Bible.
I must fall on the stone and be broken so he can put me back together in his way, filled with himself. If I am willing to be broken, the pieces can come back together in a new mold filled with his Spirit.
But if I refuse to be broken he will grind me to powder because I am so hard hearted. If I am ground to powder there is nothing to put back together and nothing to go inside since there is no longer a mold.
PRAY
Father, you call me to see I need to let you break my heart open. Holy Spirit you call me to Jesus and to empower me to imitate him. Jesus only you can show me where I need to be changed, to have a heart like yours. You are the representation of Love. You gave your all for sinners. Please Holy Trinity help me be strong enough to allow my heart to be broken and molded by you. I do not want to be ground to powder but to be remade. Thank you for offering this amazing gift. Help me surrender. Amen.
