READ
Luke 10:25-28
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”
So he answered and said, ”‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”
And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”
REFLECT
I ask Jesus, What shall I do to inherit Eternal Life?
LOVE the LORD my God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. (Love the Trinity with everything that I have. My whole life is a gift from him, I give my gifted life back to him as a gift)
LOVE my neighbor as myself. (Love all humanity as divine creations and wish them communion with their creator-their highest good: put no obstacles to their possible repentance) more than that, have MERCY and compassion on people and give them help in their need no matter who they are, even enemies.
Jesus says YES! Do This and LIVE!
PRAY
Jesus, pour into me you Holy Spirt, Holy Spirit help me love you with everything I am. Father, you have given me life, help me glorify you with it. Take all my heart soul mind and body and do with me as you will. I love and trust you. Help me walk with you everyday forgiving all that I come in contact with and praying for their salvation and having mercy and compassion on them and help them in their time of need, as you do for us all. You desire all to know you. Help me live in your kingdom and bring me all the way home. I am completely dependent on your mercy and grace. In your Holy Name, Jesus I pray. Amen.
