READ
Luke 10:39, 42
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.
But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
REFLECT
Sit at Jesus’ feet HEAR his Word. Listening to Hear is different than listening. Hearing means to really want to understand and practice.
This is THE ONE THING needed! It has to be chosen.
PRAY
Jesus, help me sit at your feet. Help me HEAR your Word, understand it, and practice it! Help me love and trust you! Help me choose to take time to really listen and apply so I can do your will. This is the one thing needed to live, we must know what you say and then trust you enough to do it. I know this is supernatural and not in me. I ask for your mercy to see my small broken soul and pour out your grace so I can do your will. I can do nothing without you! Amen.
