Live 4 The LORD

If in many of us faith is cold, as it were asleep and incapable of guiding and transforming our lives, the reason can often be traced to a lack of serious prayer and of personal intimacy with Christ. 

Many believe in Jesus, even to acknowledging him as an historical person, and to accepting what Scripture and the Gospels say of him, yet they do not believe in him as a person who is always alive and present, who wants to be our companion on the road, our friend, and the guest of our heart.

 We have not yet met him in the intimacy of prayer, and of sitting together at the table to break bread.
