Lectio Divina: read, reflect, respond, rejoice!
My Lectio Divina: Psalm 43:5
Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God.
{I feel distressed and depressed. My soul is in turmoil, I feel constantly uneasy. I feel afraid of losing God. I feel afraid of losing salvation.
Why do you feel this way? Hope in God! God gives hope. Remember who He is and Praise Him. He is pure love holiness goodness peace and glory! He came to die for me. He wants me with Him.
He is salvation. He is my God. Being with God is salvation! Forget all the things that try and keep you separate from him! Run to God, hide in him, cling to him, love him. He is everything!
Help me Lord! Help me remember who you are and that you came for me. It is so staggering I sometimes can’t believe it - Help my unbelief! I Love You. Amen!}
