The Catholic Church is the Body of Jesus Christ
If you believe the Bible is the Divinely infallible inspired word of God, written by fallible men, only what God wanted written and exactly how He wanted it written…
Why would He leave His church on earth without an infallible body that interprets it by Divine Inspiration also.
Since God did leave a Church Body on earth that Divinely interprets His Word, The Catholic Church, then you are obliged to obey it, even if the fallible men, disobey it.
Only those that disobey leave-like Judas. He was with Jesus! He left. (If He, being with Jesus himself, could disobey, it’s not a scandal that 2000 years later without having seen him, men will disobey him that were close to him.)
If a man is wrong in the body, we heal and correct, we don’t leave the body. We don’t cut ourselves off the body. If the man is uncorrectable and irreparable we sever the limb, but We Do Not Leave the body. Then you are severed! Cling to Jesus, his Body! Pray, suffer for, correct, and heal his Body. Never leave the Catholic Church!
