Lectio Divina: read, reflect, respond, rejoice!
My Lectio Divina: Revelation 22:11-12
Let the evildoer still do evil,
and the filthy still be filthy,
and the righteous still do right,
and the holy still be holy.
Behold, I am coming soon,
bringing my recompense with me,
to repay each one for what he has done.
{I am not to worry about what evil people are doing. Let them act how they want…they are judging their own soul. I am to called to do right and to be holy. Jesus is coming and he will repay each person for their Deeds, not faith, not lip service, but what they have actually done. Be careful because I can deceive myself by thinking I have faith but actually behaving that I do not. That is why it is based on deeds, because what I do shows what I actually believe.}

My Lectio Divina: Revelation 22:14-15
Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.
Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
{I will be blessed if I wash my robe. I wash my robe in the blood of the Lamb and let His Holy Spirit empower my life to obey his commandments. Being cleaned by God is the way to the tree of life. I must come to God and agree what truth really is so I can be free from my brokenness, the world’s unreality, and the devils torments. It is freedom!
Evil will be outside the city. They will see for eternity what they are missing. The evil just want their way instead of God’s way which is righteous. They have believed falsehood and have followed depravity. They have listened to their own self on what is right and wrong instead of accepting truth. They followed self destruction instead of freedom.}
